Gemstone Canyon

Unlock Route

1. Unlock Gemstone Canyon through Reach Level 12 and mark the first Rockler material loop before chasing rare targets.
2. Use Clear weather as the signal for a serious mining session.
3. Decide whether the run is for Stone and Rock Fragment or for Crystion / Galebender rare materials.
4. Test one pass without Muddy Swirl so the canyon path is clear before recipe spending begins.
5. Repeat only when Stone, Crystal Shard, Diamond, Earth Gem, or Fighting Ribbon has a current use.

Recommended Team

• Bring one sturdy route holder for Rockler checks and one attacker for Crystion or Galebender branches.
• Use Muddy Swirl when Galebender is the target; it is less important for a short Rockler loop.
• Stone food belongs to cheap mining passes, while Gem and Mystic Root belong to higher-commitment branches.
• A Mining Build should favor material consistency over fastest possible clears.
• Compare Crystion and Galebender before spending food because they support different upgrade paths.

Farming Route

1. Start with the Rockler branch if the goal is Stone or Rock Fragment.
2. Branch deeper only when Crystal Shard, Diamond, Earth Gem, or Fighting Ribbon is the named target.
3. Use Muddy Swirl on repeat Galebender runs after the canyon path is already stable.
4. Exit after the material target is checked; mining sessions lose value when they become rare-hunt sessions by accident.
5. Log drops by branch so Rockler loops and rare checks are not mixed together.

Rare Spawns

• Crystion in Gemstone Canyon: rare Crystal/Fairy, best checked during Night / Snow.
• Galebender in Gemstone Canyon: rare Ground/Fighting, best checked during Night / Foggy.

Resource Notes

• Stone and Rock Fragment are the reason to do short Gemstone Canyon loops.
• Crystal Shard and Diamond shift the route toward Crystion; Earth Gem and Fighting Ribbon shift it toward Galebender.
• Gemstone Canyon is not the best Fairy Dust route even though Crystion appears here.
• The canyon is strongest when the player chooses mining or rare checks before entering.

Common Mistakes

• Using Fairy Glen logic in Gemstone Canyon because both contain Crystion.
• Spending Muddy Swirl when Galebender is not part of the goal.
• Turning a Rockler material run into a full rare-spawn hunt.
• Ignoring the difference between stone drops and fairy-support drops.
• Repeating the canyon after the current build no longer needs its mining materials.
