Muddy River

Unlock Route

1. Unlock Muddy River through Reach Level 12 and map the safest Rain path before spending Water Shield.
2. Choose whether the run is for Stealthfin, Toxifin, Galebender, or basic mud materials.
3. Scout one pass without defensive recipe help so the team understands river pressure.
4. Bring Fish or Mystic Root only when the target branch is already known.
5. Repeat when Deep Sea Tooth, Dark Gem, Poison Stone, Gill, or Earth Gem is the current bottleneck.

Recommended Team

• Use a farming team with one status answer; Muddy River has more bad-condition pressure than Crystal Lake.
• Stealthfin is the rare night target, Toxifin is the poison-water material check, and Galebender is the ground-side detour.
• Water Shield helps when Rain pressure drains resources, but it is not mandatory for every mud loop.
• Fish supports water targets; Mystic Root belongs to Galebender-style routing.
• If the team only needs basic Water Stone practice, Crystal Lake is easier.

Farming Route

1. Open with the closest Rain branch and decide whether the run is water, poison, or ground focused.
2. Branch to Stealthfin only when Deep Sea Tooth or Dark Gem is needed.
3. Use Toxifin checks for Poison Stone or Gill rather than forcing a rare-hunt plan.
4. Add Water Shield after the river path is mapped and damage intake is the issue.
5. Exit after the chosen mud or water material is checked.

Rare Spawns

• Stealthfin in Muddy River: rare Water/Dark, best checked during Night / Rain.
• Primordion in Muddy River: legendary Dragon/Ground, best checked during Any / Rain.

Resource Notes

• Muddy River is strongest for Deep Sea Tooth, Poison Stone, Gill, Earth Gem, and Dark Gem overlap.
• It is more specialized than Crystal Lake and less relaxed as a teaching route.
• Toxifin gives the route its poison-water identity.
• Galebender makes the route useful when ground materials are part of the plan.

Common Mistakes

• Using Crystal Lake expectations in a route with mud and poison pressure.
• Spending Water Shield before deciding whether damage intake is the real problem.
• Mixing Stealthfin, Toxifin, and Galebender goals without enough food.
